Land of the Rising Fastball ,a History of Baseball in Japan - Screens at Yale
In a recent letter sent from Yale Anthropolgy Chair Dr. William Kelly to Lance Miccio documentary director of Land of the Rising Fastball' Dr. Kelly stated that Yale Screening was huge success.
Students were fascinated by the history of baseball in Japan and the blending of stock footage in some cases 100 years old and the contemporary footage of modern day Japanese baseball .
Dr Kelly plans to do a further larger screening at Yale for students and faculty in the near future
