The Film is Produced by Darlanne Fluegel and directed by Lance Miccio ' Land of the Rising Fastball a History of Baseball in Japan' comes on the heels of their cult hit documentary ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Made in Mexico from Evolution to Revolution'.

The documentary narrated richly by Buck Ford explores Japan’s National Pastime …Baseball and the sociologial role it has played through Japan's growth as a nation from the time it was introduced in 1872, through Babe Ruth's visits with The American All Stars in the 30's , World War II and beyond .

The Filmakers weave an interesting story.

Miccio and his Japanese film crew travel the world and visit nine cities to bring the tale of Japanese Baseball to the viewer.
