Former All Star 3rd Baseman Doug DeCinces Joins Land of The Rising Fastball doc
We are honored to have former All Star Third Baseman Doug DeCinces be a part of our documentary .
Doug has had many special moments as a player , he replaced the iconic Brooks Robinson when he came up with the Orioles. He enjoyed a great career with many clutch Homeruns including one in the 1979 World Series against the Pirates and game tying dinger off the Red Sox Roger Clemens in the 1986 ALCS while Doug was member of the Angles .
He was also the first to Homer in the Big Egg (Tokyo Dome )while he was a member of the Yakult Swallows not only did he hit the first, but the first two Home runs in the Tokyo Dome against the mighty Giants.
This caused great shame for the Japanese players of the day .
