Fiorello H. La Guardia, New York City’s greatest Mayor gave so much of himself to make the lives of New Yorkers better. His efforts are still evident today. He was a
courageous and colorful personality who read comics to the children, fought against corruption and cleaned up city politics setting a new standard for mayors and politicians in America.

As President Harry S. Truman once said he is “A man as incorruptible as the sun.”
